Lucas Saur (he/they) is a producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Brooklyn, NY, and a member of indie rock / pop band Melt since 2018. While in college at The New School, they worked as a freelance bassist / cellist until shifting to production and building a recording studio in 2023.

Melt released their debut album ‘If There’s a Heaven,’ recorded live to tape with producer Sam Evian (Big Thief), in 2024. Having embarked on numerous national tours over the last eight years, the band accompanied My Morning Jacket on tour in summer 2025, playing 2 nights at Red Rocks and the Greek Theater. The group concluded 2025 with their first-ever Europe tour, selling out venues in London and Glasgow, and have also appeared alongside Jon Batiste, Grouplove, and Lawrence.
